Randal Melvin grew up on his family's grain farm in eastern North Dakota where he and his wife Kristi now own and operate their own farm. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in Ag Economics. Since graduation he has been in the commodity trading industry and has been working closely with grain, livestock, and dairy producers.
