The long awaited June 30th acreage numbers have now come and gone with negative reaction by the market. Here, in the Western Cornbelt, more specifically Nebraska, the increase in planted acres was really not that big of a surprise. Area seed dealers were saying all spring that their corn seed sales were better than a year ago.
