USDA Supply and Demand Report October 10, 2019
Each month USDA updates various estimates of supply and demand and revises its moving target for where stocks will end at the end of the marketing year, August 31 for corn and soybeans and May 31 for wheat. The October report holds changes for both old and new crop. Corn and soybean old crop stocks were revised to the 9/30 Grain Stocks report. For this month’s yield numbers USDA used both the monthly farmer survey with their in-field analysis. More weight was given to the in-field numbers than
