Cash cattle traded at $135 for a second day in the South. That is $1 under last week. It is also uncomfortably close to the year's $134/$135 low posted from early June. For a market preparing for tight supplies Q4 and beyond, this would be disappointing. Dressed bids in the North are at $222 and $223. Last week's average dressed sale in Nebraska was $227. Iowa sold $228/$229 dressed last week.
