The Mississippi River did complete its forecasted small rise in level into Sunday in the Southern stretches. Along with dredging in those problem locations authorities report all backed up traffic has been removed. Though that sounds good there is nothing in this news which changes our mind about the overall situation. Since Sunday's peak Memphis, Tennessee has seen a 1 foot drop. The forecast is to see levels continue to drop into Wednesday where all of last week's gains will have been removed. By Friday, and continuing through next week, we'll be pushing to river levels under the start of last week (new lows for the downtrend).
