The dominant February hog futures contract dipped its toe just under last week's trade but was unable to hold it into the close. Bears note China's renewed concerns over a virus increase, as their COVID restrictions are slowly ending, has caused a good drop in their cash hog and futures prices. Bears can also note US weekly kills will likely hit the year's seasonal peak this week.
