Old crop grains post higher trade this week, new crop lower.

Nearby corn futures performed moderately well this week with a gain of +6 3/4 cents for the March. Current pricing is just a few cents away from retesting the 1/18 highs. A little weather risk was added for the week but no one feels confident the bullish change in the extended Argentine forecast is here to stay. New crop is a different story. It remains in a downtrend and the December posted -8 1/2 cent trade.
