Argentina Bans Meat Exports for 30 Days

Fed cattle futures added a little premium today on Argentina's meat export ban. This comes on top of generally stable cash cattle trades being reported at $119 and $120. August and October live cattle futures, the holders of the most open interest, are trading in the middle of a wide sideways range. Bears note a well-supplied cash cattle trade counterbalanced by wild pricing for wholesale beef.
