Cattle pressured this week, hogs rebound. May 20, 2022
This was a tough week for the beef side of the livestock complex. August fats fell 0.80 for the week and ended on Friday at new lows for the downtrend and a new low-close for the downtrend. August feeders fell 4.10 this week and posted new lows and a new low-close for the downtrend. Friday's trade was a convincing bear trade strongly helped by the stock market. After the close, the Cattle on Feed report would be called disappointing.
