A second round of rain was seen for Argentina, this one 0.1 - 0.8 inch. Peaks of 1.5 were noted. The current seven day total, mostly from the past two days, now runs 0.8 - 2.0 inch. This week's forecast is normal rains. Next week is normal/below. This could be a moderate change from the near-zero rains over several months. In a recent not this morning Drew Lerner, Allendale's favored long range meteorologist, suggeested…."Regular rounds of showers and thunderstorms will continue through the next two weeks and some improvement in soil moisture will occur benefitting winter wheat and improving conditions for summer crops while the rain will slow fieldwork.”
