Dollar Sees New Highs, Corn Ignores It With New Highs As Well

The US dollar index, a metric of the US dollar compared against key trading partners, rose to new highs today. Today's 103.27 peak in the index, not the June dollar index futures, surpassed the prior 102.99 high from 2020. These are the highest prices since 2017. Outside market participants often suggest a negative relationship between the dollar and commodity prices.
