Grains Wait For Thursday’s Summer Weather Forecast Update

Big wins were noted for the wheat complex this week. Winter contracts gained 65 1/2 and 105 1/2 cents while the Minneapolis was up 116 1/4. USDA recognized steeper production cuts than expected for hard red yesterday. Minneapolis and KC closed at new highs. The trade will openly discuss spring wheat acreage shifts next week. On the world USDA, USDA's wheat export from Ukraine implied almost no port opening for the new crop marketing year.
