Heat is set to sink in right as crop surveys and tours start up. August 17, 2023
August 1 - 13 rainfall, weighted among 12 Midwest states, was 3.0 inches. That is double the 1.5 long term average for that time. Considering Friday's USDA report was a yield estimate roughly around August 1 we may have recently added a little yield.
