Hogs raise concern with seasonal supply increases and demand concerns. September 26, 2022
National Pork Month procurement brought on a smaller than expected rebound. It ended earlier than normal. The seasonal bear story started earlier than normal and also has brought in much larger than normal prices losses so soon. Hogs have a double whammy here with rising seasonal supplies and the recession talk. New price lows for futures were made convincingly today.
