Larger Cattle Numbers But Fewer Hogs Than Expected? March 21, 2022
The hog trade is really wondering about summer and fall supplies. The current narrative is that we may not see as sharp of a supply increase from Q2 to Q3 as previously thought. We'll hear from USDA next week. Given the recent wholesale pork price decline, ahead of spring grilling needs, summer contracts are correct with near new high trades.
