Length of forecasted heat ahead is in doubt July 20, 2023
Updated long term forecasts from the government's weather agencies were bearish. We expected them to flavor their August-only and August-September forecasts with a little bit of the current one and two week forecast. That did not happen, at all. Normal to below normal temperatures were forecast.
