Live cattle resist falling wholesale beef and a falling stock market. September 16, 2022
Live cattle futures did quite well this week. Yes, futures were minimally changed from last Friday's close. But that comes in a week that saw straight declines for wholesale beef and steady/higher cash cattle. Also, this week saw a 5% decline for stock market! Feeders posted a significant break this week, much of which is a seasonal.
