Forecasts Heat Up, Grain Deal Concerns Linger

Confidence is building for a case of both above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation ahead. In prior runs the above normal forecast was only for parts of the Midwest at a time. Currently, the July 23 - 28 period will see temperatures push to 1 - 4 degrees over normal for much of the Western Cornbelt. Over the five days past that, into August 2, above normal heat from 3 - 15 degrees is seen for all of the Midwest.
