October hogs push to new contract highs. The discount in October is questioned. August 10, 2022
October hogs posted new highs for the uptrend and a new high close for the uptrend. But that's not all, the same notes can be said for new contract highs and a new high close for the contract. Some in the trade feel uncomfortable with a $20/cwt. difference in prices between August and October with the coming expiration.
