Corn took a hit this week with July -28 3/4 cents and December -30 1/2. Since last Friday, the best close for July and the second best close for December, the market now has a forecast that will allow for planting. The December finished at its lowest price since 4/11. That is -36 1/4 cents off the peak posted one week ago. The stock market, with an increase rate rise on Thursday and more ahead, was a contributing factor.
