Russian Aggression Picks Up, Mexico Backs Down From GMOs

Mexico backed down in its attempt to cut GMO corn imports. The US Trade Representative gave them until today to respond with scientific based evidence for their prior plan to ban the share of GMO corn imports that go to animal feed and industrial use. Their annual imports of corn, both for human use and feed/industrial, total 15 - 17 million tonnes annually. The US generally supplies 95% of their imports. The US official would likely have used their response against them in USMCA court.
