Second lowest corn/soybean ratings of 38 years of history, but… June 26, 2023
Most of the Western Cornbelt, and Northern Illinois and Northern Indiana, saw 0.50 -1.00 inch over the weekend. South Dakota saw up to 2.0 inches. The noon run of the GFS gave better chances for Illinois and Indiana than before. Both the GFS and European models show spotty rains over the next two weeks that hit most areas. Most of the runs would average out to near normal precipitation. The government 6 -10 day shows normal to above normal precipitation. The government will next update its July-only forecast on Friday.
