Soybean export sales last week were huge at 2,943,405 tonnes. This was a record sale for this specific week in history. We knew it would be good given the already-known 1.470 million reported for overnight sales. Today's number was over the 1,500,000 – 2,000,000 tonne expectation. It ran +80% vs. the five year average. The prior four weeks averaged +39%. To hit USDA’s goal remaining sales through August need to run -15% vs. normal. On our balance sheet we are using USDA’s current estimate.
