Soybeans Still Holding Good Premium

Though soybeans closed lower in today's session it was not a bad one. Prices are still holding good premiums. Though the trade was reigned in its concern for the Northern Plains there is still a bit of risk here. North Dakota is a bigger deal for soybeans than corn at 6.55 million intended acres. The overnight sale this morning is the first partial confirmation of last week's rumors. There was a neutral reaction to Argentina's announced round of the "soy dollar" program.
