Allendale's 34th annual Nationwide Producer Yield Survey has started! This two-week long farmer survey, modeled after USDA's effort, will be conducted August 21 - September 1. Last year's survey covered 26 states. We typically have enough responses to produce yield estimates for the top 12 Midwest states. Results will be released September 6. The benefit of a survey is two-fold. Surveys gets coverage from a wide geographic coverage of each state. For the main states we see a survey for almost every county. Second is the acres covered per state.
