Trade questions potential yields on Friday. August 9, 2022

Corn posted gains today on slightly better hopes for a yield decline on Friday. Of note for today's trade, the day's close was well-off the high. Bulls will counter that we left another gap open on the charts and held that gap open all day. We may have to wait until Friday's report to see this market post any meaningful breakout of the 580 - 620 range.
