Traders end the week with an eye on Tuesday.

A quiet end to the week was noted. corn trade was seen. The trade may be in neutral until Tuesday's USDA report. Weekly export sales today cover Fri 8/25 – Thu 8/31 activity. The old crop marketing year is over, at least from the weekly data series that the Foreign Agriculture operates. As a reminder, this dataset does not include all exports. There is still a little unknown for the next few weeks. Weekly FAS data ends the old crop marketing year with 1.554 billion in shipments. The prior five years averaged out an extra 122 million bushels of non-weekly FAS exports. That could put it to 1.676. USDA’s WASDE export goal is 1.625.
