Weather Agencies Repeat The Call For Concern This Summer

US corn and soybean yields are largely depending on weather specifically during the reproductive phase and just after, July - early August. This June - August forecast is for above normal temperatures for the entire US. Precipitation is called below normal for all of the Western Cornbelt and partially for Illinois and Wisconsin. Separate from any herbicide or fertilizer concerns this forecast by itself would suggest -10% to -15% for US corn and soybean yields from trend if it is realized.
