The next 5 days show drying for most of the cornbelt. The 6 - 10 shows a little rain for Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri but still a general net drying story. The 11 - 15 day is back to generally dry conditions. Monthly rainfall for the Eastern Cornbelt, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri is just over 4 inches. They should be seeing 1 inch per week. As you know, the market feels it can handle an early summer drought for Kansas and Nebraska. When you throw others into the mix the risk-on story changes.
