Weekend Rains and Better Than Expected Crop Ratings July 10, 2023
Weekend rains were light/moderate for most areas. Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa received 0.5 - 1.0 inch. Most of the Illinois - Ohio corridor saw 0.3 - 1.0 with about 30% noting 0.6 - 2.0. In the next few days ahead Central and Southern areas of the Midwest will see another good system. Next week may be drier. Over the next two weeks as a whole all areas but the Dakota's will see 1.4 - 2.4 inches. Portions of South-Central Iowa, Illinois and Missouri will see peaks of 2.4 - 4.5. Temperatures are the focus right now with light changes from last week showing.
