Allendale, Inc. Releases Cattle Estimates
CHICAGO, IL. (July 15, 2022) – The following are our estimates for the upcoming Cattle report.
The bi-annual Cattle report, known unofficially as Cattle Inventory, is a survey of the base cow/calf producer. This report gives a complete breakdown of cattle in the U.S. as of July 1. The industry uses it to shed light on long term expansion or contraction changes.
This year’s report will show a fourth year of declining beef cow numbers. Our 30.279 million head beef cow estimate would be the lowest in eight years.
